I believe the spaces we inhabit have the chance to affect us in positive or negative ways.  Beauty can calm or elevate us; ugliness can unnerve or depress us.   All spaces have the potential for beauty.  My job is to transform potential to actual three-dimensional reality while making sure the design of the space suits the needs and aesthetics of the persons who are to inhabit it.   Rooms must invite and envelop us in ways uniquely personal.

I started decorating at 5-years-old, shadowing my mother while she magically transformed spaces with fabric, furniture, and paint.    Upon graduating from the University of Virginia, I turned my love of decorating into a career. I focus on full-service interior decoration with personal attention to select projects.

I work from a private studio and am available by appointment only. My clientèle consists primarily of repeat customers and personal referrals.  I  work locally and across the country.

Recent projects include the conception and execution for the interior design of Zero George Street in Charleston, South Carolina.  This boutique hotel has been winning accolades for its design since its opening, including Travel + Leisure's Best New Inns worldwide for 2013. I've been selected to be  a member of Southern Living and Coastal Living's Designer Network for 2015 through 2019.
